What is the role?

As an Operations Analyst you will be working closely with members of the Operations team as well as other stakeholders from across the company. You will have the opportunity as part of this to learn and develop your skills in Customer Onboarding, Treasury, Operations Compliance, and Support.  The role entails:

  • Carry out daily payment processing and reconciliation activities.
  • Investigate exceptions ensuring they are processed in accordance with the standards.
  • Identify and investigate suspected fraudulent activity including production of suspicious activity reports.
  • Carry out transaction and event monitoring in accordance with AML policies.
  • Complete customer onboarding reviews to the defined process and targets.
  • Delivering on initiatives to enhance the operations of the business.

What you should have?

You will have at least two years’ experience in a business environment, ideally in the areas of treasury or operations.  You will have a degree in Business, Arts, Finance, or some other related field. You should be analytical and make fact-based decisions. We expect you to have strong attention to detail, be able to follow documented procedures and be a clear and concise communicator. Fire encourages our team to find better ways to do things and never accept “that’s just how it’s done”. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in the evolving fintech/financial services industry.
